We are so excited to be pushing forward in this category, we think custom builds are the true way to curating your comfort. When you get to choose all the details of frame, fabric and even foam, you will be sure to love all aspects of it when it finally meets its maker (aka you).
We at Olivia Rhain Home are big fans of the custom build; Daniel, as well as Serge (my partner) and I, have had our fair share of several custom pieces, so we are truly looking forward to facilitating that experience for you. It’s such an exciting process!
This article is aiming to educate you on our process, as well as the makers themselves so that you know you’ll be placing your trust in the right team.

Manufacturers
Our manufacturers are Canadian, residing in Surrey, BC! A family owned business since 1997, they have furniture all over Canada and truly enjoy creating furniture for Canadian homes. Our manufacturers take great pride in their work, they have a Quality Control team that ensures perfection at every stage of your build. Daniel has made a trip out to visit them and their workspace and they are very diligent, motivated workers! This family business has it right.
Timeline
From Design to Delivery – the process ranges 4-6 weeks, but please keep in mind with recent worldly events, the process and/or shipping may vary. See the order process below!

Furniture
Our selection of furniture is easy to shop from – just check out all our frames in the ‘Custom Builds’ category and pick your preferred piece! If we ever have any questions along the way we will promptly email you to clear up anything prior to your build going into production.
Fabrics
All the fabrics we work with have no less that 30,000 and up to 150,000 double rubs – meaning the rating of resistance and durability of the fabric. We have access to over 200 fabrics, but that’s a lot to take in, so we’ve chosen some more popular neutrals to showcase as options. Warranty
Another wonderful aspect of your local custom manufacturers is that they stand behind the quality of their work and the materials they use.
Check out our Custom Builds warranties below:
Frame: Lifetime Limited Warranty | The Kiln-dried hardwood frame is guaranteed against breakage due to manufacturer defects.
Springs: 10 Year Limited Warranty | The no sag springs in these upholstered products are guaranteed against breakage due to defective material for up to 10 years.
Fabric: 1 Year Limited Warranty | Upholstered fabrics are covered under warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase under normal conditions and non-commercial use. The fabric warranty does not cover wrinkling, fading, pilling, shrinkage, abuse or heavy soiling. Improper cleaning is also excluded from this warranty.
Stitching is warrantied for 1 year.
Sofa beds: 2 Year Limited Warranty
Foam: 2 year HR foam. 3 year for Ultracel foam | High quality, High resiliency 2.0-pound foam, which is warrantied against collapse. All foam will soften with use, which is considered normal wear.
Disclaimer * Your sofa will be free from manufacturing defects under normal conditions of non-commercial use. Our Limited Warranty applies to new upholstered furniture only. This Warranty applies to normal household usages by the original owner. This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from misuse, accident, freight handling, damage and exposure to pets. This warranty is provided exclusively to you – the original purchaser.
