Spring Cleaning Phases of a clean home cleaning in spring

1. Cleanse

This is the giveaway/throw away/store away phase, best to be in an unattached mood for this one to be the most productive!

2. Clean

This goes from surface level all the way to deep end. We mean deep – pull out the oven and fridge, clean in the oven and fridge, magic eraser the walls (or use a piece of bread, look it up!) clean your windows, wash your sheets – the list really does go on. Call it when it feels right for you.

3. Tidy

Now that you have a clean slate, start fresh with your displays! No pressure on this one, but you may feel inspired to redecorate your space after the nitty-gritty work, so as to stay inspired in your day-to-day living.

4. Rest

Now that your space is reset, it’s time to make an effort to clean out your inner plane. (Your ‘inner’terior if you will) Now is the time to evaluate your priorities, to get to know yourself deeper; enjoy spending time thinking about your future and what you want it to look like. Now you can set your intentions in a clear space with a clean flow of energy supporting your vision. Spring is upon us, it’s time to enjoy.
